Hand tools are an important aspect of mechanical work. Students working on this specialization should be able to identify and properly use any hand tools available in the robotics shop.

• Know proper names and locations of hand tools in the lab
• Know proper usage of hand tools in the lab
• Know proper storage of hand tools in the lab (ie. put the tool back where it belongs)
• Participate in hand tool safety training
• Identify hand tools to be used for each piece of hardware
