Power tools and machines are an important aspect of mechanical work. Students working on this specialization should be able to identify and properly use any power tools or machines available in the robotics shop.

• Know proper names and locations of power tools in the lab
• Know proper usage of power tools in the lab
• Know proper storage of handheld power tools in the lab (ie. put the tool back where it belongs)
• Participate in power tool safety training
